2010 Gumball 3000 rally
Here's the scoop on the route for the 2010 Gumball 3000:
"The route for the 2010 Gumball 3000 tour is now confirmed and the gird is officially open. The tour will begin in London on the 1st May, before taking in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Quebec City and Toronto before finally rounding off in New York seven long days and nights later – basically, 3000 miles across some of the finest scenery in Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and the US." Cheers.

Formula Drift 2010 should be fun. I saw it in the Seattle area in 2008 and it was great. Here's a promo video for this season. Cheers.

Exotics at RTC 2/20/2010 Recap
There was a great turnout for Exotics at RTC yesterday. Below are photos from the day. There was an amazing number of exotics there.
Unfortunately, after the event there was a Ford GT that crashed but thankfully the driver and the passenger escaped with minor injuries. Update: I found out that the cause of the crash was basically driver error. The tires were cold during acceleration on an on-ramp (520) and the car spun. Apparently, there was an issue with a Lamborghini on the way to the event too. Update: this minor accident was also due to driver error. The tires were new and cold in this case. Also, some folks in some modified cars were not being respectful of RTC or others. Apparently, one person in a Mustang did a long burnout in front of Desert Fire and others were not driving respectfully. Cheers.
Update: Here's a reminder of the rules from one of the organizers.
"Somewhere along the way we lost our guidelines for the event, I posted these rules to live by here for everyone to read.
